Welcome to Nursery!
In Nursery, we love to learn through exploring our environment and sharing what we know. We have lots of exciting learning spaces which are developed from our children’s interests and needs. If you visited our Nursery you would see children who are purposeful, calm, confident and independent. You would see adults moving to where the children are engaged and interacting with them as they play.
Your school journey starts here, working together as partners. We will guide you through an amazing year, preparing you to make the enormous step into full time education. Your Nursery year will include an amazing curriculum bursting with rich learning opportunities, educational visits, winter productions and ‘Learn Together’ sessions, where you can come into school with your child to share their learning experiences.
Home Learning Tasks will sent home on a Thursday. Please return Home Learning books on a Monday so that new work can be given.
Library Books - Each week your child will have two books to take home. A picture book and a story book. Both books are to help your child develop an interest in books, and increase their understanding and vocabulary. Children will keep these books at home for a week and return them on a Friday when they can choose new books.
Water Bottles - Children are required to bring a water bottle each day. Your child will have access to their bottle during the session in order to keep hydrated. Please label the bottle clearly with your child's name.
IMPORTANT - PLEASE ENSURE YOUR CHILD'S CLOTHING IS CLEARLY LABELLED TO AVOID LOSS OR CONFUSION.
A warm welcome back to our previous afternoon children who will now be attending Nursery during the morning session. We have missed you all! We also welcome our new children starting Nursery and look forward to an exciting time together.
